Subject Synopsis
WritingKeep a journal. Reflect everyday, every couple of days, or once a week. This is a really unique time in our history. This event is HISTORY! You will read about this in textbooks someday. One day you'll have an incredible story to tell your own children of how your fifth grade year was different than what you expected.

ReadingChoose a book or two or three. READ, READ, READ! You have plenty of time. Could you meet the 40 challenge goal by immersing your self in reading right now? Don't have a book you want to read- check out the library's online resources. Audible has free audio books right now. Epic has lots of options too! Check out the page full of links to great free stuff!

MathReview everything! You have your volume one at home with you. Review everything! These are really important concepts and you need to be solid in them. I will be reassigning some tasks from these units on enVision for you to practice and review.

ScienceSuper Science! Read your magazine and complete the activities we sent. Log into the Super Science website and enjoy the online activities too. Read and complete the packets about the human body systems that we sent home. Lots of really fun and interesting information about how your body works!

Social StudiesWe are now a part of history- this worldwide event is becoming history- history that you will read about in a textbook someday. Do some research- how have we overcome challenges throughout history? What was it like to be a kid during a major historical event like WWII, The Great Depression, The Dust Bowl? Or take time to research about an individual that made a significant contributing to helping during a major event.
